Our children deserve experienced, competent leadership throughout the educational system and serving as a trustee of the Ventura County Office of Education (VCOE) is no exception.  The VCOE offers early childhood education, technical education, professional development, special education, school safety, technology services, financial oversight for local districts and more. My years of experience with education, management and advocacy make me ideally suited to the role of trustee for the VCOE. My focus is always on students – keeping them safe and preparing them for successful futures.

Throughout my diverse experience as an elementary school and high school teacher, a university lecturer, a business executive for a Biotech firm, and a volunteer for multiple nonprofits focusing on youth, I have had a passion for education and a belief that education is a steppingstone for a fulfilling career and life.   I will continue to work hard for our children so they have the best education in a safe environment and work hard for the tax payer to ensure government funds are used wisely.
